Description:

The purpose is to validate portability of a person’s medication information based on a historical medication report. Pharmacies may read this medication list when it is presented in another country, while dispensing and administration processes remain pending.

Scenario:

The process starts from a medication report type that is part of a person’s history. Using their app, the person can select the medication information they decide to carry for cross-border travel, generating a valid QR code with this information. When the person travels to another country, they can present this QR code and the pharmacy can interpret the selected medication list that is part of their history.
